In the province of Ontario, the title "Osteopath" is a protected title reserved for fully licensed physicians who have typically been educated in the United States and are regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Erica Pearson is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (OMP). She holds a BA (Honors Specialization in Kinesiology) and M.OMSc (Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences). She has completed extensive education and training in Ontario at University of Western Ontario and the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and uses her knowledge of traditional osteopathic principles to support and advance the health of her patients through manual therapy. As a Student for Life, she continues to learn by ongoing continuing education on a regular basis. As an OMP, Erica does not provide medical diagnoses or prescribe medication.
